OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
Josh and Megan met in 21st-century fashion on a dating app. After two weeks of messages, their first date was at a Dave and Buster's. Whether it was Megan's classy defeat in a heated Connect 4 game or her redemption win at Mario Kart, Josh was smitten. Since then, Josh and Megan have celebrated together, laughed plenty, and have grown into a thirty-something homebody couple who loves a good latte and The Great British Bakeoff.

Fast forward to
At first, Josh and Megan thought about having the Lawng Ayland wedding. After looking at a few venues, it didn't feel right. Puerto Rico did. Celebrating in a place that both Josh and Megan's families love so much will make the day even more special.

The proposal
The proposal was special. Megan taught Josh early in their relationship the importance of the "golden hour," the perfect time to take a photo. And he remembered. He proposed during a suspiciously warm day in November, near the Great South Bay during a memorable golden hour.

Come See My Show...
It is no surprise that theatre is Megan's identity. Rather than a bridal shower, Megan asks her family and friends to attend her directorial debut at the BACCA Arts Center in Lindenhurst, NY, in September 2025.
The Show:
The Hours are Feminine, a play by Puerto Rico's José Rivera.
Synopsis:
In the summer of 1960, hurricane Donna ravages the northeast, and a Puerto Rican family of three, who has never left home before, moves to rural Long Island. Evalisse, Fernán, and their son Jaivín rent a dilapidated little house on the property of an old middle-class Italian named Charlie. Tensions rise between the families of old immigrants and new. Written and directed by José Rivera, this autobiographical play explores female friendship and the price of assimilation and the American way of life with humor, tears, and a final, healing reckoning.
